Cancellation and Refund

If customers intend to cancel the tour due to any reason, the same shall be intimated to the company in writing or in person within the time limit along with the receipt issued by the company. The cancellation will be made after 14 working days retaining the cancellation charges by the company as mentioned below:

(i) Flight / Ship/ Train ticket as per the regulations of individual Airlines/Railways/Cruise Operators.
(ii) For holiday plans/ excursions/ Tour packages:
•    From booking date till 30 days before departure – Rs.5, 000 to be deducted.
•    Between 29 and 16 days – 50% of the total tour amount to be deducted
•    Within 15 days – 100% of tour cost to be retained by the company.
(iii) For Room rent as per the rules of the hoteliers cancellation policy.

The company reserves the right to cancel a tour prior to its departure with/without assigning any reason. The refund will be made only on producing the receipt issued by the company.  No compensation and/or interest will be paid in any case.

The tours may be advanced or postponed due to various reasons and the customers are bound to co-operate with the same. In case the customers intend to cancel the tour due to such changes the tour amount shall be refunded after holding back a minimum of  Rs.5000/- in case of domestic tours and Rs.10,000/- in case of international tours as processing fees (This doesn’t include Flight/VISA charges).

Refund of any nature will be made strictly through an A/C payee cheque and on production of the receipt issued by the company.

​LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Though the customer can give a preference of berth for booking train tickets pertaining to a tour, the company cannot be held liable in case the railway department does not provide the ticket as per the preference of the customer. The company will not be responsible for allocation of seats in any means of transport.

The company will not be responsible for loss of baggage, food service in the aircraft/train, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and/or damage or any damage to baggage or personal effects howsoever caused.

In case of death or missing passengers while on tour applicable rules and all the procedures pertaining to the death will have to be followed by the guest’s relatives themselves. Where a tourist is traveling alone, in case of his death or on his getting missed en route the tour, the company shall undertake to make arrangements for following the procedures regarding the same, provided the nearest kith and kin of the concerned passenger undertake and guarantee to reimburse the expenses incurred for such arrangements.

JURISDICTION:

For all disputes and claims the legal jurisdiction should be Chennai.
